So i bubbled a $33 PLO8 yesterday. Felt shit. Not thaat bad, but still shit. I did win the $33 back and a little more playing cash game, so i guess it did soften the blow.

So i played a $11 Rush Tourny on Full Tilt last night...

I'm sitting in 19th place with 23 left, with 110k chips. Chip Leader has about 400k chips. So not looking too bad overall, despite sitting towards the bottom end of the field.

WSOPA is over, well done to Warren Zackey for winning and well done to runner up Melanie Banfield. This event was not a bracelet event, but rather a WSOP Circuit event where the winner wins the coveted ring for their troubles!!

Well its great that SA is hosting the first AFRICAN WSOP event. I'm quite disappointed about the lack of recognition the event is getting overseas. There's nothing on pokerlistings.com or pokernews.com regarding the event which is pretty poor (unless i can't find it). But as i said, it's great for us to be hosting such an event and its great for Poker for our country.

So interestingly, last night whilst playing the $22 PLO8 Tourny on Pokerstars, i spent a lot of the tourny with boyxavier to my immediate right, who recently entered his details and finds himself in the top ten South African Pocketfivers list.

Disappointingly, as much as i tried to communicate with him, he ignored me entirely. Maybe his chat was off? On PocketFives he is listed as being from Kaapstad, but on PokerStars he is listed as being from Amsterdam. Maybe he was born here and now lives there? Who knows? He wouldn't chat to me!
