Bubbled

So i bubbled a $33 PLO8 yesterday. Felt shit. Not thaat bad, but still shit. I did win the $33 back and a little more playing cash game, so i guess it did soften the blow.

My sadness comes from having a good run of cards, and taking out two opponents in one hand, to boost me to around 19k chips in first plce with 50 left. Second has about 11k chips. So i am waaay ahead. Then... i have no idea how it happened really, but i got some bad cards and bad hands, and before i knew it, i was around 8th out of 23 left. Some more bad hands and bad cards, and maybe some weak play (instead of aggressive play) and i'm struggling to survive. I did not survive and bubble in 13th. Payout top 12. Felt a bit shitty, but i got over it quickly.

I just think that the poker g-ds were unkind. I really should have kicked some major ass in that tourny with such a big chipstack, but i guess we cannot control the cards and what ultimately happens by the time the river comes... Ah well, there's always next time!

Haven't bubbled in so long though - so at least that must be a good thing!
