I am so F#@$*D OFF!!
So i played a $11 Rush Tourny on Full Tilt last night...
1683 entrants (Freeze-out)
I'm sitting in 19th place with 23 left, with 110k chips. Chip Leader has about 400k chips. So not looking too bad overall, despite sitting towards the bottom end of the field.
I'm on the BB and i get 95 offsuit. I tell my girlfriend. I need a flop of 955 to take this one down. Two flat callers after me. Comes back to me. I check. Flop 59J rainbow. Not looking for shit, and knowing i have the best hand here, i decide to shove to end the action then and there. I have two pair. No-one has that or better, I'm pretty sure of that.
And what happens, this fucking looney bin calls. He has me covered with over 200k chips. What do you think he has? AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 99, 55, AJ, KJ, QJ, 10J, J9, J8, J7, J6, J5, J4, J3, J2, AK, AQ, A10, A9, A5???/ shall i go on????? the fucking poepall has 109offsuit. So all he has is middle fucking pair...!!! How can he call half his stack on mid pair with shit kicker like that? That is beyond me. Pot had 18k chips in it. I shove 105k chips. He calls for 50% of his stack??? WTF???? Needless to say the fucking 10 on the turn, and my bags are packed faster than the river is dished out. So im out in 23. I'm pretty sure i'm making at least 15th spot if didn't go out in that spot. How unlucky. Odds calculator tells me that i was almost a 70% favourite, and i guess that's the only thing i have to take away with me... kinda like a plaster on the sore.
Anyway, the 1st spot paid $3500ish dollars. I was really after that. To get through such a big field and go out so disappointingly really hurts. But i guess, it's the type of adversity we just need to overcome as players and keep grinding.
FML :P
Fin
p.s. on a positive note i grinded up to $125 from just $20 playing $.10/$.20 PLO8 on 888. Think i won two big pots over the session with little pots here and there. Felt Bliss :) Yesterday on 888 i lost a monster pot with AA, on a board of A1010, i fkn new my opponent had quad tens. He did too... i lost less than i could have. (PLO8)
